Your Questions Answered

01.

Do I Need Planning Permission For A New Roof?

No you will not, a conservatory roof conversion is classed as a permitted development right so planning permission is not required unless you live in a conservation area.

03.

Will My New Room Feel Darker?

It is unlikely you will notice any measurable differences between your new roof and your old glazed/polycarb system, combine your new roof with a white painted ceiling and velux windows/fixed glazed panels or a roof lantern and your new room will flood with natural light.

05.

Will My New Roof Be Strong Enough To Stand On For Access To Clean Windows/Property Maintenance?

Yes it will be, when accessing and standing on your roof, please take care where stepping or apply pressure as to not damage any roof tiles.

02.

Do I Need Building Control Approval?

Yes, all of our roofs meet all necessary building control regulations for complete piece of mind and also come with a 10 year guarantee.

04.

Is Condensation An Issue With Warm Roofs?

Sometimes it can be, however we decided to use a timber frame due to it's low thermal conductivity where as competitors may use steel or aluminium which allows for greater moisture build up, our roofs are fully ventilated to allow any moisture build up to escape and are the only roof conversions in the UK with this patented technology.
