Will I be Able To Use My Room All Year Round?
Most definitely, the addition of one of our roofs can make your room up to 90% warmer in winter and 70% cooler in the summer, it will also be much quieter and solar glare will be reduced.

Will The Roof Be Too Heavy For My Existing Conservatory?
No, our roofs are only marginally heavier than a glass roof. As per LABC guidelines (April 2016), if your existing conservatory is showing no signs of distress, the existing foundations are likely to be adequate to carry the additional load.

Will My Internal Room Feel Darker?
As with all solid roofs, the room may well feel darker once your new roof is installed. However, with a plaster ceiling painted white and the addition of ceiling lights, Roof Windows, Sky Lanterns or Glazed Panels, it is unlikely that you will notice any real differences.

Will My New Roof Be Strong Enough To Stand On For Access To Clean Windows/Property Maintenance?
Yes it will be, a recent study showed that a 6.4m x 6.4m roof could support up to 4000kg without showing any signs of movement. When accessing and standing on your roof, please take care where stepping or apply pressure as to not damage any roof tiles.

Do I Need Building Control Approval?
In most cases yes, our roofs are fully compliant to building control regulations and we will handle all of the building control certification process on your behalf.

Will The Roof Finish Match The Roof Of My House?
We haven't yet found a roof colour we haven't been able to match, it is most likely that one of our roof finishes will match your current roof on your home.

Is Condensation An Issue With Solid Roofs?
With some other roofs, it can be. Thankfully our roofs are fully ventilated and use timber frames, where as most of our competitors use aluminium or steel, we decided to use timber due to it's strength and low thermal conductivity which combined with the patented vent system allows for far less condensation.
